Our expertise: 8 years of development, influence and support of youth
NGO Great Idea is more than an organization, it is a movement. For more than 8 years of activity, we have become experts in working with young people, advocating changes on the ground, building a dialogue between young people and local self-government bodies. Our mission is to create opportunities for young people, support democratic processes and inspire change.
Our experience is so recognized at the national level that we are invited to the most important forums and conferences. The last of these was the forum “Actions create changes”, organized by the NGO “Volyn Institute of Law” with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy. This event brought together more than a hundred participants, including representatives of public organizations, authorities and donor structures.

The main task of the forum was to discuss current issues, including how to be useful during wartime, how to find relevant topics for advocacy, understand the needs of citizens, and establish cooperation between the public and the authorities to solve important problems.
The head of our organization, Lyudmila Zubarieva, became one of the key speakers in the panel discussion on the topic “How to find and not lose active people: tools for developing and supporting activity in communities.” Her speech was about how we support active youth in communities, develop their leadership skills and create conditions for real interaction with the authorities.

Lyudmila Zubarieva was in excellent company:
– Zakhar Tkachuk, executive director of the NGO “Youth Platform”, shared his experience of developing activities among young people through large-scale projects that involve young leaders throughout Ukraine.
– Yuliya Matviychuk, coordinator of the human rights direction of the East SOS BF, spoke about the need to support human rights initiatives in communities.
– Victoria Kostyuk, founder and head of the board of the NGO “Community Development Agency “Intonatsia ZMIN”, emphasized the importance of strategic work for implementing changes in communities.
– Yulia Yevpak, entrepreneur, head of the board of the NGO PRO WOMEN UA, spoke about gender equality and support for women in business.
– Iryna Novosad, communicator of BF Angar.Ukraine, specialist in PR and strategic marketing, spoke about the importance of established communication between the authorities and public initiatives.
The discussion was moderated by Pavlo Medyna, the founder of the “Novi kryla” youth center. His experience in coordinating educational and social projects added constructiveness to the discussion.

Thank you for the invitation from the NGO “Volyn Institute of Law”!
Participation in such events not only confirms our expertise, but also opens new opportunities for cooperation, partnership and scaling of our initiatives. We continue to work on the development of youth activism and advocacy projects, contributing to the development of a democratic society in Ukraine.
Stay with us and follow our initiatives – there will be more exciting events and opportunities for change to come!
