DEVELOPMENT OF THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF THE KOVEL TERRITORIAL COMMUNITY FOR 2023-2025

The objective is to conduct a representative sociological survey of youth, including youth with disabilities and youth from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), in order to develop a youth development strategy for Kovel City and have it approved during a session of the city council for further use in the creation and implementation of projects.

The tasks include:

Investigating the role and position of youth in the social development of society.
Studying trends in the changing social face, norms, values, and interests of youth.
Analyzing the processes taking place in the youth environment.
Identifying and forecasting future directions of youth development based on the survey.

The planned activities include:

Engaging with NGOs through various online communication channels and organizing meetings at humanitarian and volunteer centers.
Organizing focus groups with representatives from NGOs.
Conducting working meetings with the focus groups.

As part of the project, an expert in sociology, a student from the Sociology Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI), Israel, will be involved in creating the sociological survey for youth.
