The project aims to establish a crisis-resistant coworking space in Kovel City, which will help young people learn and work in conditions of frequent power outages and potential blackouts.
The space will have backup power supply from a generator and satellite internet connectivity. It will also have a fuel reserve in case of repeated rocket attacks and a complete blackout in Ukraine. The coworking space will provide convenient workstations for online learning and work, access to free hot beverages, the ability to warm up, charge electronic devices, and power banks (the energy system of the space will maintain stability even under high loads).
Additionally, the project supports the development of the organization’s investment activities as a logistics and contact-consultation hub for volunteer NGOs in Ukraine. A series of webinars will be conducted on managing NGOs in emergency conditions, effective NGO/Initiative structures, typical statutes, peculiarities of nonprofit organization registration, reporting requirements, and the advantages of registered organizations.
The implementation of the project will also be supported by foreign partners from Chamblee, GA, the sister city of Kovel.
